Which should YOU pick?
Pick C++ first if you:
- Have never written a program in any language, or only did basic-computer-level typing
- Want a language that also opens game dev, embedded systems, and systems programming doors
- Plan to do DSA right after — C++ is the most common DSA interview language at Indian product companies
Pick DSA directly if you:
- Already know C, C++, Java, or Python well enough to write loops, functions, and arrays comfortably
- Are on a tight timeline to interviews and just need the problem-solving patterns
- Have a college BTech/BCA background with programming coursework already done

Should I learn C++ or DSA first?
If you have zero programming background, take C++ first — DSA assumes comfort with basic syntax, functions, and arrays in some language. If you already code, go straight to DSA.
Can I do DSA in Python or Java instead of C++?
Yes, MITS teaches DSA in Python/Java. C++ remains the most common choice for competitive programming and many product-company interview rounds because of STL speed and control.
Which course actually gets me a job faster?
DSA has the more direct interview impact since product companies screen almost entirely on DSA rounds. But you need a language foundation to attempt DSA problems — C++ (or an equivalent) has to come first if you don't have one.
What is the fee for each at MITS?

Can I take both together?
