No. MITS Academy has a dedicated design lab with all workstations pre-loaded with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Premiere Pro, and After Effects. You can practice in the lab daily. If you prefer to work on your own system, we recommend at least an i5 processor with 8GB RAM — our counsellors can advise on affordable setups.

We dedicate the last module to setting up Fiverr and Upwork profiles, building a Behance/Dribbble portfolio, pitching to local Amritsar and Jalandhar businesses, and setting competitive rates in the Punjab market.

The 2026 curriculum includes Adobe Firefly (AI image generation inside Photoshop/Illustrator), Midjourney, Canva AI, and Adobe Sensei for one-click background removal and recolouring. You will learn how to combine AI-generated assets with professional design workflows — a skill most freelancers in Punjab still lack.

Yes — arts and commerce graduates are actually our most successful design students. Strong aesthetic sense from arts and attention to detail from commerce translates well to design. No technical background is required. We have enrolled students from BCom, BA, and even 12th passouts from Amritsar, Pathankot, and Gurdaspur.

Batches are intentionally small — 10–15 students per batch — for personalised mentoring. We run morning (10 AM–1 PM), afternoon (2 PM–5 PM), and weekend batches (Sat–Sun, 10 AM–4 PM). Batches start every 4–6 weeks from both our Amritsar and Jalandhar centres.
