Common Questions
❓ Where do I find my certificate number?
Your certificate number is printed in the top-right corner of your MITS Academy Certificate of Completion. It is an 11-digit number beginning with 261 (e.g. 26101000083). Your Student ID (beginning with S) is printed in the top-left corner and is a separate number — do not enter that.
❓ Can employers verify my certificate directly?
Yes. Share the link mitsacademy.in/verify-certificate with your employer. They enter the 11-digit certificate number and can instantly verify your name, course, duration, center, and issue date. The QR code printed on your certificate can also be scanned directly for instant verification.
❓ My certificate shows as invalid — what do I do?
Double-check that you have entered the 11-digit certificate number correctly with no spaces or dashes. Do not enter your Student ID (starting with S) — that is a different number. If the issue persists, contact your MITS centre — Amritsar: +91 90561 22116, Jalandhar: +91 76580 33310.
❓ Is there a fee to verify a certificate?
No — certificate verification on mitsacademy.in is completely free for students, employers, and colleges.
