The "high-value" tier (Year 4)
4. Meta Front-End Developer Certificate - **Cost:** Free with financial aid - **Why:** Best fresher front-end credential a non-CS student can show - **Pair with:** A portfolio of 3 deployed React projects

Skip these (popular but low ROI in 2026)
❌ Cisco CCNA — unless you specifically want networking. Most of LPU does it because seniors did. The networking job market has shrunk significantly.
❌ Oracle Java certifications — they're fine but recruiters don't ask. Your project portfolio matters more.
❌ PMP — you cannot get PMP without 3+ years experience. Stop reading those PMI blogs.
❌ "Complete Web Developer Bootcamp" Udemy certificates — recruiters dismiss them. Build projects instead.

A LinkedIn that shows: - A working app at `yourname.vercel.app` with 50 GitHub stars - A Kaggle notebook with 1000+ views - An open-source PR merged into a known repo
