LPU's Design, Fine Arts, and BBA students frequently need logo design and branding skills — for personal-brand projects, client freelance work, or design-portfolio electives — that a general design elective rarely covers in depth. MITS Academy Jalandhar, about 25 minutes from LPU via the Jalandhar-Phagwara GT Road, runs a focused 6-week Adobe Illustrator course: vector basics, drawing and pen-tool mastery, colour and typography, a full logo design project, and a final packaging and brand-identity project.
As a standalone 6-week course, it fits around an LPU semester or break far more easily than a longer design programme, and gives students a specific, freelance-ready skill — logo and brand design — that shows up constantly in Punjab's D2C, restaurant, and small-business market.
Adobe Illustrator + Lovely Professional University (LPU)
LPU's large Design, Fine Arts, and business-student population is a strong match for a short, outcome-focused Illustrator course that produces a logo and full brand-identity project usable in a freelance portfolio immediately.
LPU Design, Fine Arts, and BBA students; freelancers wanting logo/branding skills; anyone wanting Illustrator specifically rather than the full Graphic Design or Animation & VFX programme.

Frequently asked questions
Is there an Illustrator course near LPU?
Yes — MITS Academy Jalandhar (65 Garha Road, opposite PIMS) is about 25 minutes from LPU via the Jalandhar-Phagwara GT Road. The course runs 6 weeks / 18 classes, covering vector basics through a complete brand identity and packaging final project.
Do I need drawing skills to learn Illustrator?
No — Illustrator is vector-based, not freehand drawing. The course starts from pen-tool and shape basics in Week 1; what matters is precision and practice, not natural drawing talent.
How is this different from the full Graphic Design course?
The 6-month Graphic Design course covers Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, and Figma across web and print design broadly. This Illustrator course is a focused 6-week deep-dive into one tool — vector graphics, logo design, and branding specifically — for students who want that skill fast.
What is the fee?
₹18,000-₹28,000 for the 6-week course. EMI options available. Free demo class every Saturday — call MITS Academy Jalandhar (+91 76580 33310).
